Discharge Process

Final discharge for a patient can take up to 6 hours after the bill and summary are prepared. Delays may happen during public holidays or if the Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) raise queries. We try our best to complete the process on the same day.

If the final bill is higher than the approved amount:

  • We will request additional approval (enhancement).
  • If it is denied, the patient must pay the balance.

If there is a delay from the TPA, the patient can pay the bill and receive a refund once approval is received.

Reimbursements:

  • Cash payments: Refund is given immediately.
  • Bank or card payments: Refund is processed within 2 working days.

Please Note:
The Insurance Helpdesk will guide you through the process.
However, all approvals are made by your TPA or insurance company, based on your policy terms. The hospital does not influence their decision.
