Emergency Medical Services (EMS) at Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre (SRMC)

At Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre (SRMC), our Emergency Medical Services (EMS) team provides fast and reliable medical help. Patient safety and quick care are our top priorities. The EMS team treats serious emergencies and arranges safe transport to our Emergency Department for further care.

SRMC has five ambulances, all equipped for Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). These ambulances are staffed by skilled Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) and supported by the local Fire Department and police force.

Each year, the EMS team handles over 3,750 transport requests. This includes emergency treatments and transfers between hospitals.

Ambulance Features:

• Basic (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) vehicles
• Cardiac monitors, defibrillators, ECG machines, and airway equipment
• Oxygen support, suction units, life-saving medications
• Transport ventilators for critical care patients

With state-of-the-art equipment and trained staff, SRMC’s EMS ensures that every patient receives immediate, expert care from the moment we respond.
