About the Department
The Department of Neuro and Interventional Radiology was initially a part of the Department of Radiology. It has been functioning as an independent unit since 2012. We specialize in advanced imaging and image-guiding techniques. Our aim is to diagnose and treat neurovascular conditions of the brain and spine using minimally invasive procedures.
We perform various endovascular neuro and vascular interventional procedures.
Our procedures are supported by our equipment, including:
- Biplane 3D Rotational DSA
- Biplane Philips FD20X20
- 3 CT units
- One 64 Slice Multidetector CT
- Two 16 slice CT scanner
- Two 1.5T MRI
- One 3 Tesla MRI, PET CT
- PACS network to optimize work flow.
We’ve advanced our procedures through the 3D Rotational DSA facility. This has established us as a national center for excellence in neuro & vascular interventional procedures. We are also one of India’s leading tertiary stroke care centers.
We provide both inpatient and outpatient care, treating conditions such as:
- Vascular diseases of the brain, head, neck, spine
- Gastro-intestinal, genito-urinary and peripheral vascular disorders
- Brain aneurysms
- Vascular malformations
- Carotid disease
We also provide interventional stroke therapy.
Our neurocath lab staff, neuro ICU staff and ward nurses work around the clock to give our patients the best possible care.
