SRMC, founded in 1985 by the visionary Late Thiru. NPV Ramasamy Udayar, Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre (SRMC) began as the teaching hospital of Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute. The goal was to transform the institution's excellence in medical education into accessible and high-quality healthcare for the community. Today, under the leadership of Thiru.V.R. Venkataachalam, Managing Trustee and Chancellor of Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (Deemed to be University), SRMC has become a leading name in healthcare delivery in South India.

Located on a lush 150-acre campus, SRMC offers cutting-edge, state-of-the-art care across a wide range of medical and surgical specialties. The hospital is home to some of the best physicians, surgeons, and healthcare providers, working tirelessly to offer superior care to every patient that walks through its doors.

With over 800+ beds, including 150+ ICU units, SRMC treats more than 40,000 inpatients and 400,000 outpatients annually.
