About the Department
The Department was started in the year 1994. Since then rapid strides have been made and our department is recognised throughout the country as an excellent neurological centre. With a well-appointed outpatient department, two dedicated modern operation theatres equipped with high end microscopes, neuro-navigation, CUSA, neuro endoscope, intra-operative neuro-monitoring and other adjuncts at par with the best centres in the country. Trained OT personnel, dedicated neurosurgical ICU and ward staff nurses work round the clock to achieve the best patient outcomes. The intensive care unit is well equipped and is headed by a senior neuroanaesthetist and nursing staff.
In addition to offering advanced microneurosurgery for brain and spinal disorders and offering neurotrauma care as part of a polytrauma centre, it has now widened its gamut of services to offer high end functional neurosurgery, Stereotactic surgery, CV junction surgery and epilepsy surgery services.
