Dr. Gautham G., graduated in the field of medicine from Pondicherry University in 2012, and later obtained his M.S. General Surgery from Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth University in 2017, registered under the Tamilnadu Medical Council. He started working as a assistant consultant at SRM Medical College, Chennai. Then continued his career at Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute from November 2017, which is ranked among the top 10 medical colleges in India by the National Institutional Ranking Framework [NIRF]. After working as assistant consultant for period of one and a half years, he was promoted as associate consultant in 2019, and as Consultant in 2024 in Department of General Surgery, SRI RAMACHANDRA MEDICAL CENTRE and is working till date at SRIHER .

To add on, he has completed his D.N.B., General surgery degree in November 2019. He has also acquired an additional postgraduate degree of M.B.A. in Hospital Management in the year 2014. 

He has obtained a Fellowship degree in Gastro endoscopy in 2019. He is academically proficient for teaching M.B.B.S., Dental and Paramedical students. He has also endured Hands-on-training on Cadaver workshop for General Surgeons. With future plan of projects in his key areas of interest being gastroenterology, surgical oncology, he is panning his career towards PATIENT CARE being epitome of his method of treatment.

Dr. G Gautham, has two international publications to his name as the primary author, and has presented numerous posters and paper presentations during his post-graduation and career. He is qualified to perform and teach basic laparoscopic skills and laparoscopic surgeries, major laparotomies , and various oncological procedures and endoscopies. He has been a part of organizing committee of Rapid Review and Revision Course for postgraduates and as a organizing head of Surgical Forum [Departmental Activity]

He is a Fellow of Indian Association of Gastro-endo surgeons, Life time member of Association of Surgeons of India. He has registered his degrees under Tamilnadu State Medical council [TNMC Regn No: 99560]

Dr. G Gautham, has been faculty in-charge for undergraduate students of Bachelor of Physiotherapy in academic year 2017-2018 and B.D.S students during academic year 2018-2019, and has taught MBA Hospital Management for batches of 2020-2023, as a part of wider contribution to the departmental responsibilities.
