EXPERTISE: 

                   I am trained in interventional cardiology from MAHE, Manipal Academy of Higher Education Kasturba Medical  College, Manipal & perform predominantly adult and occasionally pediatric interventions for the past 15 years  .  

Coronary intervention:      

• I have performed more than 2500 PTCAs to date, more than half of which are primary angioplasty.
• I have performed CTO (ante grade) with reasonable success.

Structural intervention:       

• PDA Device closure 
• ASD device closure.
• Balloon Mitral Valvotomy 

Pacemaker Implantation:  

• Performed more than 150 pacemaker implantations with Single and Dual chamber pacemaker.
• ICD (single and dual chamber)

Current Nomination:

       At present I am working in Sri Ramachandra University as Head 0f Cardiology since April 2024. I joined the university in Oct 2015 as Associate Professor & senior Consultant. The University, now consisting of 9 Constituent Colleges with over 45 Departments, offers about 85 courses with over 3,500 students. Since 1997, SRMC has tied up with Harvard Medical International for upgradation of its standards of education and patient care. Sri Ramachandra University is a NAAC accredited “A” level institution. (From Jan 2009) CGPA score of 3.62)

Sri Ramachandra Medical Center (SRMC) is a tertiary care multi-specialty university hospital. With over 2000 beds, 114 ICU beds, 25 operating rooms and a campus spread over 175 acres, SRMC is one of the largest private health care facilities in South Asia.
