A clinic which offers a variety of services related to the prevention, diagnosis and management of disorders of the foot. The services are offered by the Department of Medical Surgical Nursing, Sri Ramachandra Faculty of Nursing in collaboration with the Departments of Endocrinology, General Medicine, General Surgery & Orthopaedics. The clinic provides both inpatient and outpatient services.

• Foot assessment
• Foot wash
• Nail care
• Callus management
• Footwear selection
• Foot wound dressing
• Education on Diabetes Mellitus, Hypoglycemia, Foot care and Exercises
• Diagnostic measures - Monofilament, Biothesiometer, Doppler including Foot Scan
• Education on Diet
• Education on Self administration of Insulin

Location and hours

The Foot Care Clinic is located in E2 - I, II floor, A-F block, SRMC,
operates from Monday to Saturday between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
