SRIHER Eye Bank

India is home to an estimated 12 million blind people. Of this number, close to 6.8 million people suffer from corneal blindness with vision of less than 6/60 in at least one eye and approximately 1 million people have bilateral corneal blindness in our country.

Restoring sight is the primary mission of the eye bank of Sri Ramachandra Medical College & Research Institute.
