The Department of Anaesthesiology & Pain Medicine was established in the year 1984 and has since then developed into a centre of excellence in providing comprehensive clinical care to patients of all surgical specialties, as well as the finest education of the highest standards for medical students and residents, with its team of accomplished faculty and world-class infrastructure.
The department takes pride in possessing an erudite faculty with a total strength of 35 expert consultants who provide anaesthetic care for all specialties and have been active participants and contributors as a team to achieve the organizational goals in clinical work and improvement in quality of health care.
