Heart failure Registry was launched at Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre today by Mr. V.R. Venkataachalam, Chancellor of Sri Ramachandra University to monitor patients on a long term and work out best methods of intervention for better health outcomes. For the first time in India, a medical team in Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre, Chennai has successfully used an “Artificial Lung” to save a 3 day old baby with a severe lung problem.
