About the Department
The Department of General Medicine had its inception in 1985 and is the largest department of Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research. The Department takes pride in having thirty-five faculty members from different institutions in the country, working as a single functional unit with great understanding and appreciation and with utmost commitment in applying the latest medical knowledge and technology to meet the needs of the patients, in par excellence. We deal with and excel in education, patient care and research. We have striking number of publications in indexed National & International journals.
Ours is a broad specialty which provides primary and tertiary comprehensive health care for all medical problems like diabetes, hypertension, infections, multi-organ involvement, etc. through outpatient, inpatient services, camps and tele consultancy.
